Before we get to today's news post (one below this one for the impatient!), I'd like to introduce a new endeavor here at MewesNews.com: The SmodSquad Pod. It's always been my intent to try to include more fan driven content to this site and on Sunday night four S.I.R. fans joined me on Skype for the first of what we hope is many podcast records. In the future we'd like to have more of you join us as, like our Episode 1 title states, this podcast, like this website, is for the fans...by the fans!
-The BusDriver
In 2011, the Smodcast Internet Radio network was formed by a group of online broadcasting entrepreneurs lead by Kevin Smith. In the weeks to come shows like Plus One Per Diem, Jay and Silent Bob Get Old and Tell 'em Steve Dave attracted a loyal following. Coming from all walks of life and spanning the globe these people download, Tweet and inform . They are musicians and artists. They are programmers and clerks. Most of all, they are fans. These are the men and women of...The Smod Squad.
In Episode One, The SmodSquadders attempt to understand the intricate language of Jason Mewes, debate how one might go about violating a squirrel and discuss the difference between Canada and the United States. Along the way they touch upon the idiocy of Kutcher, porn stars reading to children and drunken New Jersey bus drivers. Max Hedroom cameos! If that wasn't enough for a first episode they revel the horrors of the rare (and very disturbing) E.T. porn!
