4 held for trial in bus shooting (Philadelphia Inquirer)

Ted Bundy DNA Could Help Solve Cold Cases (ABC News)‎ 

(Twenty-two years ago notorious serial killer Ted Bundy took his last breath in a Florida electric chair. Now his DNA may play a pivotal role in cracking some unsolved murders. Bundy's full DNA profile will be uploaded to the national CODIS (Combined DNA Index system) database today, where it will exist along with the DNA profiles of 10 million other convicted offenders.)


Jury convicts 5 current or former New Orleans officers charged in post-Katrina shootings (Yahoo Canada)‎ 

(A federal jury has convicted five current or former police officers of civil rights violations in the deadly shootings on a New Orleans bridge after Hurricane Katrina.All five officers were convicted Friday of charges stemming from the coverup of the sho otings. The four who had been charged with civil rights violations in the shootings were convicted on all counts.)


"Voice" coach Adam Levine sues over "Band Hero" videogame (Reuters)‎ 

(Activision's new "Guitar Hero" spinoff "Band Hero" has struck a bum note with Adam Levine. The Maroon 5 frontman and coach on NBC's hit reality series "The Voice" filed suit against the videogame maker in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, claiming that the new game exploits his name and likeness far beyond what he had agreed to. According to the suit, which was obtained by TheWrap, Levine allowed the company to use the Maroon 5 song "She Will Be Loved" for the game, and performed the song for motion-capture so his avatar could be created.)


A new Rambo video game is on the way (Digital Trends)‎ 

(Reef Entertainment picks up rights to Rambo, announces plans for 2012 game. It’s been almost 30 years since he was first introduced to movie audiences, but UK-based video game publisher Reef Entertainment hasn’t forgotten about the one-man army named John Rambo. In fact, they’re banking on the lasting appeal of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic character with plans to develop a new Rambo game for release next year.According to MCV, Reef has secured the rights to develop multiple titles based on the Rambo character and films, and announced plans to put a new Rambo game on shelves as soon as next year.)
